Clarence Finley Boulter was born in 1907 and began his formal art training in 1929. C.F. Boulters passion for art led him to the Massachusetts School of Art, Fenway Studios in Boston
where he studied oil and watercolor with Harold Lund,
the Cape School in Provincetown, MA where he studied with John Fraser,
and the Gruppe School of Rockport with Ken Gore, Marion Williams Steele and Charles Movalli. C.F. Boulter painted for himself and for his love of life. And that's exactly what he captured in his art: the soulful joy of life.
